Arkansas Young Artist Association is the largest organization of high school visual arts students in Arkansas. We have been serving Arkansas high school students since 1979. Our mission is to encourage and support the visual arts across the state of Arkansas to all high school students through professional speakers, competitions, exhibitions, and scholarships. Each spring, our association is highlighted with our AYAA Convention and Competition, an officially sanctioned event by the AAA (Arkansas Activities Association).

Our association is comprised of high schools of all types and from all across Arkansas. Currently, AYAA is comprised of over 60 Arkansas high schools, including traditional public schools, private schools, S.T.E.M. schools, charter schools, and magnet schools. Traditionally, we have over 1,500 student members each year in our organization.
