2020 Spring Competition and Convention

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”

Pablo Picasso

This year we have 69 different categories for student members to compete in. We have worked hard to develop different categories that fit the needs of all of our student members. We have broken the categories up in many different sections to promote fairness and competition for all of our unique and talented student artists.

2020 On-Site Art Competition

AYAA’s On-Site Competition allows students to create artworks the morning of the competition. Students will be given a prompt then asked to create a work of art in the allotted time. The completed artworks will then be judged and each category will receive awards. The students have six different categories from which to choose from.

Each year we work to have different artist and leaders come and speak with our student members.
